About Stephanie

Stephanie was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she grew up and attended Geneva College.  She received an A.A. in Biblical Studies with a concentration in Human Services.

Stephanie spent 17 years in customer service in the tourism industry as a Night Auditor/Night Manager while continuing her education and raising a family.  While raising her family of 6 children she developed a love for teaching and educating young children.  Substituting in the Philadelphia school district prompted her to start her own daycare, after care, tutoring, and homework support program in her home.

After teaching for almost 20 years she met and married her husband of 12 years, Rev. Troy J. Harden.  After 3 years of marriage she and her husband moved their family to Wilmington, Delaware for two years and then they moved to Jacksonville, Florida where they currently reside.

In Jacksonville she started volunteering at SOS Academy Charter School for one year in the PTSO and then became a permanent substitute.  She developed the Athletic Program while working as a Physical Ed coach and Assistant Athletic Director at SOS Academy.  Stephanie worked at SOS Academy for 6 years while teaching, coaching, and mentoring middle school students.

Working for various organizations in myriad program coordinator positions as well as directing her own educational programs showed Stephanie her lives purpose which brought her to Girls Inc.

She is currently pursuing a B.S. in Organizational Leadership and Management to further her career.

Stephanie is a proud grandmother to 15 beautiful grandchildren.
