Girls Inc. Welcomes New Board Members
Jacksonville, Fla (June 28, 2010)
            As the nonprofit organization Girls Inc. of Jacksonville continues to grow in the local community, so does its governing board of directors.
With a mission to empower all girls to be Strong, Smart and Bold, and the ambition to inspire all girls to become the leaders of the future, Girls Inc. is privileged to welcome four strong leaders in the Jacksonville community as new board members.
President and CEO Beth Hughes Clark states, “As our programming grows, we are excited to continue to build our board.”
Joining the board are mortgage banker Lisa Aimone, WJCT host and producer Melissa Ross, WJCT reporter and producer Cristin Wilson Jordan, and attorney Helen Peacock-Roberson. Each of these women holds strength and leadership within the community and will bring a strong voice to the board.
Board Chair Peg Ganger says, “It is a joy to receive such prominent women in the community on our Board. We are very lucky.”
