At Girls Inc. of Jacksonville the health and safety of our girls, our staff and our community is our top priority. With the current public health crisis taking place in the US, it is more important than ever that we come together as a community to uplift and help each other. Following the lead of Duval County Public Schools, Girls Inc. of Jacksonville will resume hosting in-person programming at our partnered schools and follow COVID-19 sanitation and social distancing practices.

Providers Offering Free Internet

  • Xfinity/Comcast: 60 days free internet service to families in need and $9.95 per month plus tax after the 60 days. Families can get the service from InternetEssentials.com or (855) 846-8376
  • AT&T: Two months of free service and $10 per month for eligible families. Families can get the service at att.com or (866) 861-6075

United Way of Northeast Florida
United Way’s FREE 211 Helpline
211 is the easy to remember, three-digit telephone number that connects Northeast Florida callers to health, social and human services and more than 4,000 community programs. This community help resource is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and provides information to callers in Duval, St. Johns, Clay, Nassau, Baker, Putnam, Columbia, Suwannee and Hamilton counties. 211 staff will be equipped with shelter information and more, as information is available. To contact a 211 call center specialist, dial 2-1-1 or 1-904-632-0600 from any landline or cell phone.
