Be a part of a celebration highlighting community leaders making an impact to uplift women and girls in the Jacksonville community and recognizing the success Girls Inc. of Jacksonville (GIJ) has achieved throughout the year. GIJ will host the 7th annual Women of Vision Celebration Luncheon on Wednesday, March 1st at 11:30 am at the WJCT Studios Soundstage (100 Festival Park Ave.) The organization will begin Women’s History Month by honoring those working to create a more equitable society for women and girls.

“Through our programs, girls, 5 – 24, learn to be self-confident, responsible and well-rounded. We are proud to recognize leaders who share their knowledge and talent with them. This luncheon gives us the opportunity to highlight this success,” said Alexis Howard, Girls Inc. of Jacksonville’s Interim President and CEO.

The 2023 Celebration Luncheon will honor 2 individuals and one organization for their positive impacts on and for women in the community. Mary Anne Jacobs, retired CEO of Girl Scouts of Gateway Council, as the Champion for Girls Honoree. Cerita Battles of Chase Bank as the Women of Vision Honoree for her leadership of Community & Affordable Lending at Chase. As the second-ever Champion for Girls Organization, Rethreaded, an organization committed to supporting survivors of sex trafficking through employability development and training.

Join GIJ as we celebrate the impact these leaders continue to make in Jacksonville.
