
ABOUT JULIA
Julia is an alumna of the University of North Florida, graduating in December 2018 with a B.S. in Communications and a focus in Pubic Relations. Originally from Miami, FL, Julia moved to Jacksonville to attend UNF after earning her A.A. at Miami-Dade College.
Julia’s first encounter with Girls Inc. of Jacksonville was through an internship during her time at the University of North Florida. From there she transitioned into contract work and then a permanent full-time position as the Community Relations & Volunteer Coordinator here at Girls Inc. of Jacksonville.
Julia is, and always has been, extremely passionate about social justice and fighting for equality for all. The nonprofit sector has always called to her and she feels extremely lucky to be a part of the Girls Inc. mission.
Julia is also the proud owner of an AKC certified Bedlington Terrier who is the apple of her eye. When Julia isn’t at Girls Inc. of Jacksonville or spending time with her “Beddie” she enjoys making art and journaling.
